In time, all belts are developing these kind of curves. Some sooner, some later. A bit like the wine, the bad ones get ruined in the process, the good ones get better. The SHIBUI belt comes 'shaped to perfection'.

I wouldn't criticise the good old classic buckle for it's bulkiness. I've been wearing one for decades and never felt like complaining. But the Conway buckle is a breed apart.

 Talking about thickness - you can see it here, compared to the belt that I've used every day for almost 30 years.

 The Conway buckle was meant to be functional, it was not meant to be beautiful. So I had to reshape it, with respect for the original.

• At the end of this campaign (if successful), you will be asked to fill in the final survey. There, I will get from you details about your order: Shipping address, belt width, buckle colour, amount of items and the most important one: your exact belt size. I am  building the belts in 10mm increments (less than 1/2 in) in order to be sure you'll get a perfect fit. In an update, soon after this project launch, I will show you exactly how to measure your belt.
