TransparencyNOW! Wearables Began as a Tactical Solution

But Dude I'm Not a Cop, What Can I do With This?

Not a cop?  No worries.....for a start you can record hands free videos and instantly share youramazing POV action shots just like a Pro for a fraction of the cost!  It also makes a great & unique gift for anyone with a mobile phone.

Our Story

Wear your phone!  We started developing our products in late 2012. The products we develop make mobile phones wearable while functional and quickly accessible at all times.

Our prototype tactical wearable kits for military and law enforcement purposes have been and are still being tested by the United States Army under their emerging modernization program.

Due to recent events and the large demand for body worn cameras, we'd like to do a 1st production run of our most universal tactical wearable kits and make them available NOW to law enforcement and also to the public for the first time.

Positive Social Impact - Help Reduce Crime & Abuse of Power

A major goal of this project is to introduce a product that will kick start critical thinking while providing those thinkers with tools to take action and make a difference.  Conventional body cameras are on track to be fully deployed on all 800,000 U.S. cops by the year 2030. Mobile phones as body cameras using mobile apps can be deployed on all 800,000 cops in less than 3 years with a significant cost savings to taxpayers.

Pumped up as he was do you think this cop would have shot this man in the back if he KNEW he was being recorded? Would the man have ran away to begin with if he knew HE was being recorded?

Sponsor a cop, promote compliance.  Most people agree that police body worn cameras are inevitable and beneficial to the community as well as law enforcement.  How we go about it is the question now.  Ultimately taxpayers will be footing the bill as this is a public safety issue budgeted in every city, county and state.  Here's a link to multiple studies by law enforcement and other organizations that will attest to the need and inevitable deployment of real time streaming and recordings of public interactions with cops.  The truth is and studies show, we're on our best behavior when we think we are being recorded.  More compliance and less abuses of power should be the end result of a transparency mandate however, we should not allow our government to overspend if there are clearly better options.

We Believe in Mobile Devices

Mobile devices (e.g., smartphones, cellphones, tablets, phablets etc.) are amazing!  Most mobile users will tell you their camera is one of the most important features on their device.  The iPhone 6 has an 8MP camera that can capture 1080P HD video at 60fps (that's pretty awesome)!  The Samsung S5 has a 16MP camera that can capture 4000P HD at 60fps and will record video with a voice command (that's super awesome)!

Every time a new model is released (which is often) the cameras get better and the apps keep coming!  Why should we waste our tax dollars on something (the average body camera) thatincreases costs by 1250% and cannot keep pace?  Critical thinking.

Harnessing the Power With the MDPX-CLR Kit

We've spent over two years developing wearable tactical products that are inexpensive yet highly effective for soldiers and/or law enforcement to use while in action.  Our MDPX-CLR kit is one result of that R&D.

The weather resistant MDPX-CLR comes with clear press-on port covers to prevent the wind, rain, sand, splash or whatever from entering the MDP while in action.  With port covers on - your device is totally enclosed yet fully functional.

How to wear your phone

Wearing your phone is a snap - literally!  Our international patents pending reference "...objects comprising a connectable by swivel snap modular device enclosure...".  This means your phone can be wearable by simply putting it inside our specially designed MDP (modular device pocket) and snapping it in place wherever you want it on clothing or upon objects.  Once connected you will be surprised at how strong the union is - with or without the stacks (explained later).  Harness the power!  Here's how it works:
ATTACHMENT METHOD #1 (Tactical Kit)

ATTACHMENT METHOD #2 (Consumer Kit)
Press-on snap tracks: Washable after 24hrs-usable immediately!  Semi-permanent & dry cleaning removes all traces!  Guaranteed!

What is a flexXrack?

Ever see a cop using a cellphone while driving?  Yep, most can do that in the line of duty.  The flexXrack is a new hands free setup that lets cops safely & securely attach their phones to their steering wheels or bicycle handle bars.  With a flexXrack they will have immediate sight and voice access to the functions of their phone including a quick way to upload files without interrupting other duties.

We've been testing the flexXrack for over a year and can confidently say it is way more helpful than it is a distraction to driving.  In fact, for navigation purposes we found it was much better in the line of sight than looking away from the road.  Having said that we'd still like to give the cops an opportunity to bless the flexXrack before we earnestly distribute them to the public.

About the ISO 9001 Factory & Jobs

Seamcraft on the west side of Chicago has been our R&D industrial sewing factory for over 2 years.  Owner Ed Kuhr is committed to hiring "more people who can walk to work" which means the community near North Avenue and Central Avenue - an area known for its high unemployment rate. (This video was recorded wearing an S3 in an MDPX-CLR).

While Seamcraft handles the sewing, the finish work, packaging and shipping will be done in another facility on the south side of Chicago.  The finish work requires an arts and crafts approach that Chicago youths could be trained to do.
