Carabinsi will hold your keys wherever you go.
NEW ADDED FUNCTION: Attach up to 6 keys (or even more) to a JIMI TOOL. All the screws and hardware will be included.
SMART
Carabinsi are smart, because they will do, what you will program them to do. Inside of Billy and Jimi is NFC chip, which is open-coded, so you will be able to program it by yourself and as many times you want. You can program to open your favourit website, youtube channel, open (social) apps, share your contact info, turn ON/OFF WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and more. And this just with a tap! NO BATTERIES needed! WRENCH TOOL
Carabinsi can even fix your bike, closet or anything else. Use 1/4" (hex bits) with different adapters.

We have decided to use a packing which can be later on used in a very practical way. The packing is actually a wallet for coins and paper bank notes.

is a shape of a guitar with a logo and an NFC chip. The idea for this shape came from love for music.

In our everyday lifes, we are dealing with keys. We have different kinds of keychains, but not many of them are personalised and useful at the same time.
That's why we have decided to go on a mission to create carabiners, that will solve our everyday obstacles and can be personilised. To make carabiners even more innovative, we have added aNFC technology, which make them smart. What you will program them to do, they will do it just with a tap!
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a set of short-range wireless technologies, typically requiring a distance of 2 cm or less. NFC chip need NO BATTERY.
NFC function on your smart phone, can be turned ON all the time. According to personal expiriences of me and my friends, a NFC battery consumption on our smart phones is negligible. NFC works only with unlocked screen.
NFC is more known as technology for mobile payments and creative marketing, but that is not all, what NFC can do. Most of the recent Android mobile devices support NFC.

iPhone 6 has a NFC but unfortunately cannot read or write NFC tags, but according to CNET information, we have 75% chances, this function will be implemented in next iPhone. Hooray! Get ready! :)

The best thing is, that you will get open code NFC chip and you will be able to program it by yourself. -->That is so easy... just download one of the many free NFC programming apps from Google Play or any other apps store and you can start.

Carabinsi can open doors with NFC technology
If you have the NFC door lock, you can ask your door lock producer to program NFC chip inside of Carabinsi, so you will be able to unlock your doors.
The begining of Carabinsi takes us to January 2014, when we started drawing our first prototypes.
Every time we received prototypes, we tested them whether they had the functions we wanted and whether everything was running smoothly. To be honest, only the fourth version of the prototypes was the correct one and had all the functions and design that we wanted, so we have had quite some development expenses already.
Carabinsi are produced from stainless steel with a laser cut technology. After the laser-cut, there is still quite some work to do. We then have to round the edges with stone tumbling, make the open-close clip and insert it, add the socket for the logo, put the NFC inside the socket, design and print the logo, cut it, put it in and seal it. All of this is mostly manual work.
The Carabinsi project is only funded if it reaches or exceeds its goal of $3000 or more.
After the project is a success, we will send out a survey, where you will give us details about your products and address.
Once the money will become available, we will order the material and ask our producer to run his laser cutting machine. This will take approximately 14 days. When we receive lasercut carabiners, we will immediately start the manual work, so they will be available for you, as soon as possible.

I am Rok and I am very enthusiastic about the project.
I have decided to present it on Kickstarter, because I am sure that it could be interesting for many people. Besides that, I would also like them to get familiar with the NFC technology, which is not very popular (yet), but I believe it has a lot of potential.
