 We’re two best friends who had a single childhood passion – building epic things. We loved the idea but the tools with which we had to work had limitations.

When we grew up, even though severed by time, Shijun came up with an idea to not just reconnect and rebuild one of our old childhood constructions but to create blocks of our own that would be simple enough to overcome common limitations and complex enough to be able to build anything we wanted.

From early childhood we dreamed of building various things that were simply impossible with the tools that we were using. Without even knowing it, we had another dream of stripping the rest of the world of the same limitations that aggravated us.

Pinblock is our greatest project yet, and if we're successful not only will everyone be able to build anything they can envision, we want everyone to try recalling their childhood dreams and consider bringing them into life as an adult. Nothing is impossible.

Instead of building with conventional pre-packaged pieces that were meant for only one or two models... 

...we found a whole new world of possibility for Pinblock.

We were lost! We looked at the first prototype set that we developed and couldn't come up with ideas. Build a cube? A little plane? A big plane? A bird? 

As we kept building, our ideas grew in scale. The euphoric rush made us forget about any boundaries. 
-Hey Vlad, what about an Empire State Building? Want to give a shot?

Have you ever build something you can WEAR with a conventional construction toy? Exactly ;)

Because Pinblock can flex, twist and turn, you can easily create gadgets and wearables. Take it a step further and  build yourself an entire suit with a gear set to satisfy your inner Jedi, robot or futuristic rebel. 

This is what you gotta do:
1) Construct a wearable foundation on yourself that wraps around a certain body part.
2) Take the foundation off and reinforce it.
3) Start adding various designs and contraptions over the foundation!
4) Wear, show to friends, take selfies, vlog or go to Comic Con; you're set!

Once you get your first Pinblock set, don't think; start building. If you let go, your brain will open up to countless possibilities. You will step outside after a few hours of building things and the world will look different. That statue, that building, that mug, Can I Make It With Pinblock?!

The Pinblock instruction manual has 52 pages to build the Silver Falcon model. Pinblock is not meant to be played alone; therefore, even at such early stages of this toy, we want to build a loving community to make the experience even more fun.

With every pledge, including the $1, you will get digital pages of the instruction manual.

**You are challenged to collaborate with other backers using any means necessary to be the first to put together the whole manual (I think our Facebook page would be a good start link here)

If you win this challenge, you are probably our biggest fan so we want to treat you with a secret prize.

This is a sneak preview for you of the brochure we will distribute at the toy fair. It will be held in NYC, but since it's not really opened to the general public, here are some more sneak previews, Just be hush-hush about it... ;)

Part of the reason we need the extra funding is because we were set behind by a charity run that we couldn't resist. We manufacture a significant amount of Pinblock pieces, but Shijun got in contact with Checkmate Cancer, a non-profit organization that helps children fight cancer. Shijun realized it's more important to share the joy of building with these kids rather than build a larger inventory.

Even if Pinblock doesn't make it, our dream already has helped build other people's dreams and that's our ultimate goal. Check out the blog about this event (here)

Yes, our timeline is very short. We realized that we really needed help at the very last stages of bringing Pinblock to life. Unlike many other projects, you will get the product in a few months. We expect you to tweet us or post on our Facebook wall and tell/show us that you got your Pinblock product and what you think about it...or else.....we know where you live! >:)

What do we need the money for? For something like this...

This is something very similar to what we are in desperate need of right now. We spent all our funds on the initial mold which allowed us to make a very small amount of Pinblock pieces. A bigger mold, when Kickstarter ends, will allow Pinblock to be mass produced.

1) This means that Pinblock will be available for you in more locations, and...
2) the price will be reduced even further, successfully making Pinblock more affordable than any other construction toy on the market!
