A few years ago, I suffered a severe spinal cord injury during an elite rugby match. After surgery, my doctor urged me to keep my neck warm during the winter to help prevent muscle spasms and pain. I was at a windy football game when I realized my hoodie strings weren’t getting the job done. I had to pinch my collar shut just to keep the cold wind from chilling me to the bone! That's when I realized there had to be a better way…Magnadjust was born!

I put pen to paper and started developing Magnahoodie, a better way to keep the neck, head, and ears warm in a hood. Since the idea was all about keeping warm, I decided to take my idea one step further and double layer the entire hoodie providing more warmth and comfort. Once we added the double-layer, I knew we had the ultimate all-in-one solution to a jacket, scarf, and hat, the perfect garment for an urban worker or athlete on the go.
