It all began on the hot, humid summer days of 2020 when we were stuck at home and struggling at our desks from brain-fogging stenches that smelled like a combination of pet litters, microwaved salmon, wet cardboard, musty laundry, and overwhelming air freshener's fragrance. They were nearing on our nose, and how they made us feel- irritated & nauseous. After much thought, we decided that this shall not be the new condition of WFH and made it our mission to create an innovation that breathes ease into everyones' lives: AirHero - A True Hero for Zero Smells.

Our first venture was taking things everyone was familiar with and trying to improve upon them. There are already a number of available bamboo charcoal bags on the market. But we kept seeing over and over again that "this is not getting rid of the smell well enough...". So we traveled to many Vietnam local factories, searching high and lows for a solution that could do it all. We collected and tested different materials until we settled on coconut husks. And this by far has been the best decision we've ever made. Not only do they produce the least amount of carbon emissions, but coconuts overall are biodegradable. No more bamboo deforestation when we can take a natural product already widely available as factories' leftovers.
