What is the outcome of obsession with sports cars and luxury watches?
Like most guys, I love sports cars and fancy watches; hence this long lasting romance brought me to create this time piece that reflects the tachometer panel of sports cars, by having a single arm with just numbers and mark lines.
A red hand on this black watch pushes it further out of the ordinary and makes it look sportier while still maintaining its elegance. It adds the versatility in a sense that it can be worn at a fancy wedding or to casual sports bar.
The other colour is the vintage inspired combination of brown and white, giving it a classic push.
Ferro watches are 100 meters water resistant with an engraved logo on the crown, buckle and back case.

The Copper version will come with Miyota Japan Movements, Sapphire crystal front and back glass and 5ATM (50 meter water resistant).
After months of brain storming, sketching and designing Ferro, I sent the sketches to the manufacturer which I partnered with to make the prototypes which came out exactly the way I planned.
Making the prototypes involved several processes such as molding, machining, brushing and assembling. I also had to deal with a couple of other suppliers to get the sapphire crystal and the quality genuine leather straps. After several weeks and dozens of back and forth e mails and phone calls, I finally received the prototypes and was overwhelmed with the results.
Case: 44mm diameter with 22 mm lugs

The prototypes in here are actually in 46 mm case and the date is at 3 O'clock. The watch size will be reduced down to 44 mm and the date will be moved down to 4 O'clock.
The smallest lines represent 5 minute increments - the medium lines represent 15 minute increments; the large lines represent 30 minute increments and the extra large lines represent 1 hour increments.....
The arm revolves around the watch every 12 hours twice a day.
Below are a couple of examples to reading time with Ferro:
On the left picture, you can clearly see that position of the hand between 4:20 and 4:25 minute interval- so the time is approx 4:22 or 4:23
On the right picture, the hand is between 12:50 and 12:55 (closer to 12:50 minute line), so the time is approx 12:52
As the final design / tech drawings , prototyping and testing phases have been successfully accomplished, we are finally confident and ready to manufacture the Ferro watches for our backers. We have the manufacturer and other part suppliers ready to make the watches with our green signal. All we need is your support.
