There are 30 inter-dental spaces, which are spaces in between the teeth of upper and lower dental arch, and these spaces are critical part to gum health. 

As the mouthpiece contracts, Vumblr mouthpiece has a same effect as using 30 gum stimulators at the same time. As the number of contraction increases, the effect increases 30 times. 

Moreover, the mouthpiece not only massages the inter-dental spaces but also massages the entire gums.

A thin wing structure is added to the mouthpiece to stick to the Mucogingival Junction to form vacuum pressure.

 A dentist with 20 years experience, Dr. Hyun found that many patients remove plaque poorly because they lack adequate manual dexterity to manipulate the toothbrush. He also found that patients suffering from systemic complications such as aspiration pneumonia or dental disease due to poor oral hygiene have higher death rates. He was determined to find a solution to this problem. So in 2014, he worked together with enthusiastic engineers and developed an oral care device that automatically cleans teeth and massages gum with an application of vacuum pressure.

Field Tests 

As 20 years experienced dentist, Dr. Hyun found that many people are having difficulties brushing their teeth because they can’t use their hands well.

He wanted to help those people brush their teeth and thus he got together with enthusiastic engineers and developed an oral care device that automatically cleans teeth and massages gum with an application of vacuum pressure from 2014.

Especially he recognized that patients suffering from systemic complications such as aspiration pneumonia as well as dental disease due to poor oral hygiene have higher death rate and wanted to solve the problem. 


Academic Activities

After completion of the final prototype, and in various academic presentations, our team was recognized by experts and dentists for the effectiveness of the Vumblr Oral Care Device.

Over the past 3 years, we have upgraded through 8 prototypes, researching, testing and refining the functionality and performance of this innovative oral care system. 


Our R&D team has spent years developing and perfecting Vumblr, finding the best materials and formulas to optimize the oral care experience. We're so confident in our products we back it with a 1-year warranty.
