What is this all about?

We are SIDEKICK Mounts, a Los Angeles based Design Company that specializes in Professional Action Camera Mounts for serious applications. We have been designing and producing world class mounts for the last 2 years and now we want to bring them to Kickstarter. We are using Kickstarter to launch our new Full Size POV Cap Mount for the GoPro® HERO Range, BeHD® Camera and SJC Camera as well as offering our new GoPro® Session Mount - our 5th Generation Design and Direct to Rail Mounts. You can Pre-Order them via Kickstarter only, your gear will deliver Worldwide by the end of Feb 2018. With your help, we can make this the best release thus far.

It's a Lightweight, Robust Plastic Mount that lets you wear a GoPro® HERO Session Camera on your Cap, providing the perfect Point of View (POV) angle to record video or shoot pictures. Take your Camera more places, easy to wear, easy to remove and instantly accessible. The Mount fits to the Brim of the Cap and is secured in place using Velcro. No need for uncomfortable and awkward straps or fiddly screws. We have been successfully supplying this mount for the last 12 months, this version includes several new features such as Record Light Indicator and Rear Camera Setting Button access.

Why did we make them?

There are a million mounts out there out there for Action Cameras and none of them met our needs. They were bulky, uncomfortable, flimsy, frumpy, floppy, and frustrating. Designed for occasional use, the current range of mounts didn't offer the stability and comfort we needed to carry and wear cameras day in day out. We knew we could do better.

SIDEKICK Mounts - why are they so exceptionally dope?

SIDEKICK Mounts, in our humble opinion, are the best way to mount your Action Camera to your head to provide Point of View Video or Shoot Photos. It keeps your camera rigidly secure, yet instantly accessible with the click of a button or can be quickly removed and stowed away by ripping it from the Velcro.

Using the SIDEKICK Mount couldn't be simpler, no screws, no annoying head straps. Remove the rear panel from your existing Camera Case and clip it to the SIDEKICK Mount. The Mount then slips over the front of the Brim on any Velcro® based Cap and secure the Mount in place. The Mount can be installed and removed in seconds, provides the perfect Point of View for hands-free video or photographs. The mount is made from Lightweight Robust Plastic, designed to provide a low point of gravity and perfectly balanced, it's comfortable to wear anytime, anywhere.

SIDEKICK POV Mount for the GoPro® HERO and HERO5 Session Camera What's New? The SIDEKICK Mount for the GoPro® Session was our first production mount. Released earlier this year, after months of testing and tweaking we have finally locked in the design. Gen 5.0 adds in some cosmetic changes, new materials, as well as adding a new slide in door configuration and easy access to the camera settings button at the rear of the GoPro® Session without the need to remove the Camera from the Mount.

Insert the GoPro® Session Camera, clip to the front of the Brim and Secure via Velcro® for the perfect POV. Removes and stores in seconds.

When will it all ship?

We expect all rewards to leave our warehouses by the end of February 2018.
