We either turn on a BLINDING bright light while also rudely waking up our loved ones OR we stumble around in the pitch dark hoping we find the toilet and hoping the seat is in the right  position.

Well we say NO MORE ! ! Introducing the GlowBowl; A device that will bring our toilets out of the Dark Ages.. And into the LIGHT !!

We have finalized the design and tested the GlowBowl's functionality. Our prototype is perfected. We have finally been issued our patent. Before we deliver the GlowBowl to the rest of the world, we need your help to raise capital to invest in expensive injection mold tooling and to purchase our components in large quantities, so that we can produce GlowBowls at an affordable price. We’ve put in the hard work on the design and development. Now we need your support to bring the GlowBowl into every household. We have selected our manufacturer and sourced our components. The GlowBowl provides users with the ability to select from 7 LED colors with a click of one Smart Button. OH, you can't decide which color to use because they are all just so AWESOME? DON'T WORRY ! ! We have also added a carousel mode that will automatically cycle through each color every 4 seconds.

The GlowBowl's Sleek Water Resistant Design makes for a sophisticated looking device that appears to have been made to blend in with the toilet. It appears that way because it was! ! We worked long and hard with top designers to come up with its unique sleek shape and porcelain like finish that appeals to both men and women.

•  3.5 Inch Flexible Arm: It can be bent into any shape and keep that shape securely with it's ridged yet flexible backbone.
• RGB Light: We have programmed 7 LED Colors to choose.
• Light & Motion Sensor Window: Behind this window lies the brains of the operation. An Ambient Light sensor that determines the level of brightness in the bathroom and only activates the LED when its dark. Motion Sensor that senses the user as soon as they enter the bathroom. The LED only activates with a combination of low light levels and motion.
• Smart Button: The smart button is how the user changes the color and the brightness of the GlowBowl. It couldn't be simpler.

We have engineered the GlowBowl to maximize space. We were able to cram all these features into such a small frame, while still housing 3AAA Batteries.

It was a pleasure working with this model. Not one PEEp ! ! No complaining about the long and grueling hours ! ! And was paid almost nothing. Well actually nothing..

This is where our journey began. We started with our first prototype which we built at home with electronics we bought from RadioShack. It used a plunger switch technology that left the user needing to lift both of the lids to activate the LED. Which really didn't work for woman, didn't help with finding your way to the toilet, and really just all around missed the mark on the problems we were trying to solve. That's when it hit us, "We need a motion sensor so that it knows when you enter and we will also need to add an ambient light sensor so that it doesn't activate if light is already present." So the long developmental stage of the GlowBowl began... We wanted to be sure not to leave anything we thought was important out.
