I don't know about you but I loved building things when I was a kid. Legos and other building type kits. I know I would have loved this. Robots made from drinking straws! You could even make them from recycled straws - ones you've used & cleaned to build with. I don't have kids but I'm pretty sure my niece and nephew will love this. Remember $1 pledges and sharing with friends or family goes a long way. And you don't have to be a kid to buy and play with the kits - borrow someone's kid if it's too embarrassing to use it by yourself (see my comment about niece/nephew above...).

I had this one starred to go back and look at it again. I also like some of the projects they have backed.

Do you ever do that? Follow the links for what a creator has backed and find even more fun and delight?

I check out what projects backed by creators. That is how I find things I would never have found in my normal searches. Sometimes they projects are already complete and I buy off their retail page.

Yep I go through projects creators have backed as well as backers I notice I bump into frequently. I find way too many cool projects that way.
