has anyone used backerclub lately?

hey guys, for those of you who have used backerclub to back or promote your project, is it still a viable option? I used it in the past with decent results but I wanted to sign up today and it seems like they don't offer the guarantee of $349 in new pledges or you don't pay anymore, any thoughts on this?
