Hi, my name is Josh Scribner. I'm a tap dancer and choreographer in Seattle, WA. I've been lucky enough to perform in places from Seattle to Broadway in NY, doing everything from local dinner theaters to touring with Cirque du Soleil. I founded the Alchemy Tap Project (ATP) in 2012 to focus on the development of the next generation of tap dancers and to introduce the joy of this unique art form to audiences and to passionate young dancers.

ATP is based on the principle that neither percussion nor dance is restricted to one style of music. ATP choreography uses everything from hip hop, dubstep, and electroswing, to flamenco guitar, jazz, and classical music. We've collaborated with ballet dancers, contemporary dancers, and hip hoppers. Every year, ATP performs all over the Pacific Northwest, from high schools to opera houses and everything in between.
