Oh well. There's a WHOLE lot of time between now and launch.
Looks like the % option is gone at the moment. I went through everything as a creator again last night. I'm puzzled as to what "coupon" is supposed to be when you are filling in the full project details requesting approval.

Cost to be a project changes as does other information as they are still figuring out their business model from what I can tell. Now they guarantee a minimum $$ from backers (amount they charge to be on BC). This is new. I'm sure things will change again. ;)

Well, maybe when I'm ready they'll have a lower price, or a %. Not sure how good the "Guarantee" is. Still have all the costs associated with the pledged tire(s), PLUS the BackerClub Bonus. Not like what get's pledged goes entire to the bottom line like the money to BakerClub came from.

I have lots of thoughts but I'm working on discretion ;)

It takes a while when starting a new business to figure out how to charge clients. Not like there are a ton of similar clubs competing with BC. How do you get the right kind of projects (ones that appeal to BC members), give incentives to members to bring in projects & members, and make a profit?

Yeah, I suppose. With my cards, there are a lot of others in the category even if none of them are the same. How do I get the right kind of Backers (ones that will pledge), provide enticing Rewards, and at least break even?

Dunno why others (Facebook, Inbox Dollars, BackerClub.co, etc.) making a profit off of me leaves such a bad taste in my mouth.

Do you read the Kickstarter blog? I found this one interesting "By the Numbers: When Creators come Return to Kickstarter" https://www.kickstarter.com/blog/by-the ... ickstarter

Shows the increase in success/$$s raised in 2nd and 3rd successful campaigns after your first. Good reasons to think of additional projects to fund if you've been successful on your first project.
