I just posted a pledge on the Kickstarter project below, which is listed on BackerClub, but it does not show up in my BC profile, which also prevents me from posting my pledge value on BC.

How should we proceed in such cases? I understand that I need to inform my pledge amount, but as of now I just can't do so.

never mind. After a couple of hours it showed up in my profile and I could fill up the amount. Ideally it would allow one to inform the amount right after posting a pledge.
