Ultimate Search Tool - Exclude categories

Please have the ability to say "Not this category". Or at least, be able to select multiple categories for inclusion.
My ideal would be able to look at all new projects that are NOT in about 3 categories. That would cut the number down considerably and much more focused on what I like. I used to browse the new projects page on KS, but I gave up because so much was not interesting--and it didn't let me exclude the categories I knew I didn't want that were filling the screen.
