I'm trying to complete my BackerClub profile by linking Indiegogo. I'm fairly certain that I'm following the instructions. This is the link I'm using to my Indiegogo profile:

Unlike Kickstarter, where you can customize your profile URL, this seems to be the only format that the site uses.

Then I put this text, as requested by BackerClub, at the beginning of both my "Short Description" and "About Me" fields on IndieGoGo. (BC uses this language, which is unclear: "Copy and paste the text from the box below to the beginning of your biography / about me section:" I've tried it several different ways.)

The next field is for the email address. I'm using the same one on both sites, and it's the only one on either site. And the email is verified.

Save the IndieGoGo profile. Then save the BC profile.

This time I got this error:

The Indiegogo profile is not valid. URL not found: https://www.indiegogo.com/individuals/8676608 (HTTP 404)

But if I copy and paste the link, it works just fine and loads my profile.

Next try (and most tries), I get this error:

The Indiegogo profile does not contain the verification code.

Additionally, I have connected both Facebook and LinkedIn to my Indiegogo account (but I don't want to provide links to them in the "Outside Links" section of the Indiegogo profile.

What verification code is it looking for? How do I fix this?

I keep having the same problem. I assume something is wrong with the determination of the profile URL.

I had the same problem today. Would love to add my IGG account to my settings.
