when i back a project, how does the project owner know I am part of backerclub if they are offering extras? Like the new sunglasses, safety glasses project? how do they know that im part of backerclub?

Technically the creator has a dashboard on BackerClub to match up backers. Some projects have special ways for us to place our pledges making it obvious (either BackerClub or no reward or $1-5 reward where we put in the right $$ amount). Sometimes they ask the question during the survey at the end. It never hurts to mention it in comments as well as send a PM to the creator - well I've never had it hurt me to do either of those things.

It would also be nice to have the BC backers use the same user id as they do on KS. A lot of the names do not appear as BC members and you have to go thru the list.

Speaking of backerclub extras -- we're thinking of, in addition to the extra we have already offered to BC members, offer another extra. Our project is the 3 in 1 Stand Up Stand in a Tube http://kck.st/17mv2dJ . The tube is anodized aluminum and very smooth. We're thinking of adding a pouch for this where you could also put cables and a charger in it. Just want to get some opinions if anyone would like this as an extra incentive to back the project. It would be nice quality either velvet or silk material - dark color - unisex.

Yeah I agree on this. At least most of us are using the same email on both.
