I've helped a few during projects. I've helped at least one relaunch and she's over goal now (comic). I'm helping another get ready for a 2nd project which should be much less stressful than the 1st (drawing). Those are all cool.
I'm also working with a small publisher - I've backed 3 book projects they've done in the last 2 years. In each case I've had to drop them notes with suggestions/questions/problems. Towards the end of the latest I suggested they have me preview their project prior to going live so I can suggest what add-ons & how to add additional x from the start they thought it was a great idea. This is really cool because it means I'll be able to add "publishing" creeds of sorts (my real field of interest).
I know there are a couple more but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Mostly it's been "have you thought of this pledge or that one?" Although I've also helped suggest rewriting story/description text/pictures/update material as well as people to talk to/follow.
It's all volunteer stuff but I'm having fun & hoping I can get people to write "testimonial" blurbs to add to my website so I can add helping with Kickstarter stuff to my social media services.
If I'm ever able to work again having this stuff up on website helps a lot.

Hello everyone, I am new in BackerClub and I am surprised I got 1 star. What purpose does this star provide or even mean? How do backerclub member "level up" their stars? Is there a comprehensive guide for ranking stars? I am becoming a little bit addicted to kickstarter after I joined BackerClub and receive notification from cool projects.

The stars are related to the number of projects you've backed. You "level up" by backing more projects...
