This is a pretty cool one. I don't know if you've ever seen glass blown but it's amazing to watch. This project is to teach more people the art. The creator has caught the attention of the local Main Street organization which is excited to help her. But she needs the Kickstarter funds to make this happen. She still has over half her goal to go.

This is the third glass project I have backed. Each has helped someone build a studio and continue their work and each has involved some unique and special rewards

I really thought this project would be funded by now. I'm surprised more backers aren't interested in getting a BackerClub piece of glass. They look pretty cool.

I asked the creator if I could buy one of the BackerClub pendants she'd made. It's really nice. I'll be using it as a sun catcher in my kitchen :D

I am planning to back again too. I think she will make it this time with the lower goal that is well under her previous pledge total. Glad she came back for another try.

It all looks VERY nice. I'm just not sure I can afford $25 for their smallest offering.

Yeah I don't know why she doesn't have a $1 pledge. But I'm not sure what kind of hand blown glass you can do really cheaply.

Doesn't have to be a physical reward.

$1 -- Every dollar helps us reach our vision. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
$5 -- You name, along with all other backers at this level or above, will be proudly displayed on the wall in our new studio.
$10 -- Pledges at this level or above will also receive a post card that depicts the names displayed in our studio.
$25 becomes $30 to cover the display, postcard & postage. Similar changes to all higher rewards as needed.

I know for my deck of playing cards I intend a $1 Thank You tier and a $5 Postcard (probably the card back) mailed out. And the cost of the postcards & postage will be incorporated into the cost of all other tiers.

I always end up wondering how many pledges and how many dollars those pledges would add up to when a Creator has their first tier at $25 or even $50. Not everybody can afford those amounts, but they might be willing to pledge token amounts instead. And I figure that if someone backs, even if just for $1, they're more likely to spread the word that somebody who sees a $25 minimum pledge and ends up not pledging at all.

YMMV
