Hello! My name is Ava Carmichael, I'm a fashion designer and entrepreneur currently living in the Washington DC area.
I'm a BIG Kickstarter fan and also a Creator! I love supporting and promoting as many projects as I can, whether with free graphics or social media promotion. I dislike all of the "sharks" out there who are trying to take advantage of start-ups trying to raise money. I love to see people succeed with their dreams and projects! I've successfully funded two campaigns and working on my third. I'm delighted to be a part of BackerClub!

I agree with your sentiments. I love backing just to support, though I also like some of the awesome rewards offered. I am saddened by how many backers are negative and non-supportive. Some clearly do not understand the design, development, and manufacturing process of new items. Others seem more focused on what they can get.

Always happy to meet someone who has a more positive outlook.
