Not the place to promote your project

Some friendly advice from a frequent backer and a social media coach.
Introductions are a place yo introduce yourself. They are not the place to be promoting your product/campaign. I'm very turned off when someone uses the introduce yourself area simply to point me to their campaign. I suspect based on the lack of replies/welcome to creators doing this I'm not the only one.
In an introduction post: Tell me about yourself. Tell me about the kind of projects you've backed. Mention you are a creator. Don't try to sell me anything here.
Go to the Kickstarter discussion area, find the appropriate category and post about your project, link to your Backerclub project page so I can learn about special perks (if you are a Backerclub project), link to Kickstarter page, and tell me something unusual about your project which I won't find on the project pages.
Then, in the appropriate categories, share a few projects your backing and why. Skip this if you aren't backing any projects.
By doing this you look like you want to be a member of the club and I and others are likely to react to you favorably. If you are a frequent backer and fascinated by Kickstarter welcome to the addicts club.
If you are here just to sell your campaign stick with your Backerclub project page and the Kickstarter sub-forum; you'll make a better impression.
