Re: Support pledge of $1 or more
I have many projects I have backed this way to support and follow. I prefer it when there is a reward tier of $1 to click but will make do with the default through KS otherwise. It took me a while to realise it was available though. There used to be default wording about backing at $1 or more and I'...

Re: Kickstarter FAILs
Well, as the number of projects backed has increased so has the non-delivery or concern of non-delivery. Two projects I backed at very high value are my biggest disappointments. One delivered very late and never quite made all their function goals then sent a notification that despite all their effo...

Re: Favorite Kickstarter Rewards?
This is really difficult to answer. I have some great games and game related products. Also some good tech related products. Right now one of my favourites is https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1521168535/help-us-build-a-tim3-machin3 as it makes the best brown rice ever and allows me to have hot o...

Re: Had to cancel and/or decreased pledges how to handle
I too have faced this recently. I sent personal messages and reduced to the $1 level. I let them know that I really liked their project and was glad to see they had met their funding goal (thankfully the ones I had to leave already had) and that I was sad that for personal reasons I needed to reduce...

Re: backers - ways to help projects succeed
I agree with much of this Tasha. Thank you for starting this thread. I now have enough confidence to answer some backer questions in comments, things like how do I increase my pledge. Or when the information has been clearly stated I may answer a project specific question though I will clarify that ...

Re: Last minute angels ---
I have seen one or two campaigns who were counting funding gathered outside Kickstarter and so may add that to the final pledge amount in the last days. I can not remember which one actually made it clear and would report progress of their other funds and what actual % toward goal was with those inc...

Re: Spotlight
I am finding it very frustrating to have to hunt and peck to find out how much I have backed for, particularly for projects that include a lot of add ons.

Just completed your survey. Not sure what to suggest regarding increasing your media presence prior to launch other than that it is a good idea.
Perhaps send prototype decks out for review?

Re: I got another star!
It very much depends on the creator. Some are very open to suggestions from backers and appreciate an experienced backer providing feedback. Others do not want to hear from us ever. Yes, some campaigns benefit from input early enough to help during their campaign, others you will not find soon enoug...
