Re: Hi from Switzerland

Welcome,
This is an excellent place to get ideas for your project! Welcome!
I loved Switzerland when I visited - great place. It's been a while though.

Re: Great Product, Limited Backers - can you explain why?

- No doubt you've done a lot of good research on the matter, but it all comes across as rather personal and not independent. Can you provide a link to an external study thatshows how your product addresses issues for children? - concurrent with that , how much additional benefit do you get from purc...

Re: Question on justifying Funding

I don't think experienced backers will begrudge you your funding, as long as it's explained adequately in the project materials. The one thing I would suggest you do is look at comparable projects and see how they approached things. Casual backers may pass you by if your price is too high. See if th...

Re: Support pledge of $1 or more

Yes. KS always has the $1 (actually any amount at least $1) and no reward, at least for now. When creators do put in a support tier (i.e. $5 instead of $1), I always try to back that one, because you'll stand a better chance of getting updates, some sort of trinket. Not sure a backer is obligated to...

Re: Reinventing the car air freshener, FreshAir

You mention a discount on recycling the freshener when exhausted, but don't see a number anywhere. Makes it hard for potential backers to fully understand your project.

Re: Have you backed IndieGoGo projects?

I've backed one, where I personally knew the creator. The flexible funding scares me for the technology/design projects that I usually do. Heartening to hear Mepper's experience (7/10 recieved, 2 on the way) though. Maybe I'll take a look at some of them closer. The wait for at least 50% on a flexib...

Pre-launch projects

I haven't seen a new pre-launch project on BC in a long time. Have they been discontinued, or are they just in a lull?

Re: Exquisite Ink: Fine Handcrafted Implements of Writing

They look really nice! Some suggestions
- support more refill types if possible
- add personalizations as a reward tier (i.e. monograms)
- a picture grid of all the various styles together (jumping around a lot to take it all in)
