Re: Copycat projects?
It seems I should check back here more often. Thanks for the replies. I was more referring to projects that are aiming to deliver something pretty much identical to a different project. Copycat projects?
Maybe I'm only noticing now because I've actually backed a few projects, but I seem to be seeing many projects creating products that are very similar to other live, completed, or fulfilled projects. For example, one that caught my attention was GlowBowl , which is similar in every aspect aside from...

Re: Last minute angels ---
As far as I know, this kind of behavior (assuming it's by some party close to the creators or the creators themselves) will end up hurting the creators at some point because of all the fees. If the amount that was legitimately funded was low enough, they could actually end up losing money. Sure, an ...

Names are no longer bold and creator names are no longer flagged as such, so it's just a giant wall of plain text. The...

Re: scammy projects
Heh, I found the topic and read through it. You had mentioned someone after you had posted more detail on backer trust - that was me, actually. =P

Re: scammy projects
Speaking of the Jada project, did anyone else notice the huge $3500 pledge someone made a couple days before the deadline to push them over their $5000 goal? It really raises red flags when you look at their KickTraq funding graph. If that was the creator's doing, I hope they knew they might actuall...
