Re: Have you backed IndieGoGo projects?
I've backed 10 IndieGoGo projects. 1 was not funded. 7 have delivered. I'm waiting for the final 2 to deliver, which should happen before the end of this year. I haven't had any problem with the flexible funding, but I would be a bit leery of pledging to a flexible funding campaign until they make i...

Nouveau Playing Cards
Here are the Nouveau Playing Cards . It is a custom deck with great art and especially nice court cards. From the project: NOUVEAU deck is inspired by the historical and mythological heroes and heroines traditionally featured in the French playing cards since the 16th century. As for the art style a...

The GoSun High-Tech Solar Grill
Here is the GoSun Grill: A break-through solar oven that can even cook at night . This isn't electronics and doesn't need to be plugged in, but it definitely is technology. It's more than just a high-tech toy, it's also practical for outings any time of the year. It doesn't matter whether it is hot ...

The GoSun Grill
Here is the GoSun Grill: A break-through solar oven that cooks at night . It's a solar grill that uses an evacuated tube (like the old thermos bottles) so that it can cook things quite efficiently, much better than something like the Global Sun Oven. This one is even more special because you can get...

Re: Playing Cards
A fifth suit and extra court cards sounds good. Adding a 1 and moving the ace to above the court cards sounds good. Using 4 colors instead of 2 sounds good. The problem I see is that the more cards you have, the harder it is to fit everything on a standard sheet which will probably drive your costs ...

Re: Board games on Kickstarter
Above and Below is a gorgeous storytelling game by Ryan Laukat, who has created games including City of Iron, Eight-Minute Empire, and The Ancient World. The one-liner is: Explore a massive cavern and build your new village above and below ground in this storytelling/town-building mashup board game...

Re: Board games on Kickstarter
I don't usually like war games, but the more I look at this one the better it seems. It's Hands in the Sea . It's a two-player deck building war game set during the First Punic War between Rome and Carthage from 264-241 BC. Even though it says "card game" it is definitely a board game and the board ...

Re: Board games on Kickstarter
Here's another game I've backed: Between Two Cities The description says "Design unique and beautiful cities in this partnership-driven, 20-minute, competitive tile-drafting game for 2-7 players." When they reach $150K (probably next week) they will add solo rules. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/proje...

Re: Miniatures Gamers
I used up my budget on Space Cadets: Away Missions. I liked the first Ghostbuster movie quite a bit, but I'm not really interested in the Ghostbuster game.

Re: Board games on Kickstarter
I listen to the Happy Mitten podcast. That's where I first heard about Aether Magic . It sounds like a fun game with good player interaction and very stylized art. https://ksr-ugc.imgix.net/assets/003/260/278/d508513200c8ca17023460d37c496f49_original.png?v=1423530098&w=700&h=&fit=max&auto=format&los...
